Proud moment for both the team and the seafood profession.
We are a regional finalist in EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2025 – a recognition that means a lot to a family that has been involved in seafood for four generations, long before the time at Torget.
Fjellskål stands for a profession that has shaped us: fishermen and fishmongers who could see quality without lifting the fish out of the box. People who were at work before Bergen had time to get their coffee. That profession doesn't fill the city like it used to, but with us it lives on as always, in the hands, in the minds and in the pride of our people.
Now we stand side by side with some of Western Norway's most impressive growth companies.
For us, it means one thing: that our work is noticed. That our city sees the value of the seafood profession, our team, and everything we build, bit by bit, year after year.
Many thanks to EY and the jury for the recognition.
And congratulations to the winners and to all the other finalists, companies that lift the region, create jobs and drive Western Norway forward. It's okay to succeed. It's okay to have success. And we wish everyone who dares to do just that.
For us, this is confirmation that “passion for quality” is not just a logo embellishment. It is our heritage.
We continue to carry Norwegian seafood with pride – here in Bergen, in Western Norway and further out into the world.
